Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze on the balance beam. She was the first American to be awarded many Olympic medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal for the team event, which gave her as well as co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals for the team. Her silver medals came in the floor individual and all-around events. After the 2 Olympics she had taken off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Furthermore she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of two and her favourite event is Floor Exercise. Aly is a supporter for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature range of leotards. Fierce - a novel she is writing will come out this year.
